Waldomiro Loyolla Loyolla earned his degree in Physics from Unicamp and Electrical Engineering from UNESP-Bauru, his Master's in Electrical Engineering from the São Carlos School of Engineering/University of São Paulo, and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Electrical and IT College/Unicamp. He is a Full Professor of PUC-Campinas, and taught 15 different disciplines of the undergraduate and graduate courses, was the advisor to 25 Master's degree students. |
| He published more than 30 papers in Brazil and abroad. He was the Coordinator of the Master Programs in IT and Specialization in System Analysis of PUC-Campinas, as well as Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering of UNESP-Bauru. | |
| He received the National Excellence Award in Distance Education from ABED-Associação Brasileira de Educação a Distância [Brazilian Association of Distance Education] and Embratel. He is the President of ABED's Scientific Council, in addition to having planned and took part in the implementation of Distance Education Programs and Centers in several institutions. He coordinated and took part in developing research projects financed by different aid agencies, and coordinated the development and implementation of information systems for the Learning Environment Management and Workflow Management areas. | |
