Edson Vaz Musa earned his degree in Engineering from ITA - Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica [Technological Institute of Aeronautics], and is a senior partner of EVM Empreendimentos, Caloi's holding, and president of the Board of Directors of Caloi. A former president of Rhodia and former member of the Executive Committee of the Rhône-Poulenc Group, he is a board of directors' member of companies such as Natura and WEG and of several not-for-profit organizations such as TV Cultura, Alliance Française, Brazilian Quality Award Foundation, Dom Cabral Foundation, and Competitive Brazil Movement.
